OnePlus' 10,000 mAh power bank, which was out of stock on its exclusive partner Amazon India for quite some time, is now back on sale in India.
The company has decided to sell the power bank for a limited period at the same old price of Rs 1,399, before it starts selling it at an increased price.
"Unfortunately, an increase in production and operational costs have led to an increase in product price that will come into effect starting 2016," says OnePlus in a press note, adding, "We are offering the limited stock of OnePlus Power Banks on the Amazon India starting 2 PM, today, December 18, 2015 onwards" at the same price of Rs 1,399.
The 10,000 mAh Lithium-Polymer OnePlus Power Bank is available in Sandstone Black and features dual USB ports for simultaneous charging two devices and battery indicator LEDs.
In a press note sent to the media, the company has also explained the reason that why its power bank was not available to buy in the last few months.
"We understand your frustration at not being able to get your hands on the OnePlus Power Bank but we've had to battle some regulatory hurdles as well as a mind-numbingly lengthy product certification process. But, things are about to change. We are very pleased to inform you that all of the required processes have been cleared," explicates OnePlus.
